Technical Writer (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Work closely with SW Architecture team for writing technical documentation and conduct formal review meetings, track project status, and resolve any communication barriers
-Facilitate the timely development, change, review and approval of documentation
-Align documentation spread across various platforms for content creation and management such as SharePoint, Google+, Confluence Wiki
-Develop and revise technical documents, such as Guidance Documents, Work Instructions, and Templates to drive consistency and quality of content
-Maintain departmental tools, processes, and libraries; assist with activities required for maintenance and publication
-Coordinate creation of a visual design and theme for the SW Architecture Team’s Intranet website, lead efforts to create a site navigation, manage and further develop intranet presence
-Guide SW Architecture team through existing communication vehicles, templates and tools
-Develop proficiencies in the selected IT communication tool (Google+ or SharePoint etc.)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in a diagnostics business environment
-Strong web communications and content management expertise
-Experience managing and implementing intranets or collaboration software
-A degree in a scientific discipline, business administration, technical writing, or other related technical field required
-Highly experienced with Office applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
-High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
-Knowledge of multimedia tools and processes used in state-of-the-art technical documentation
-Basic understanding of the components of common web technology
