TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ANNAPOLIS, MD.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor's degree any field.
- Three (3) or more years of directly related experience
- Proficient MS Office skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Technical Writer is responsible for the development and execution of a wide range of editorial projects for external and internal audiences.
- Plans, develops, implements and edits writing projects such as user manuals, installation manuals, training manuals, help documents and tutorials.
- Works with management to establish writing goals, strategies, and plans.
- Counsels internal clients on editorial matters.
- Prepares written text and coordinates layout and organization of manuals and other documents according to prepared outlines and specifications.
- May prepare on line PDF user guide documents and online help files.
- Researches available technical data including drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications.
- May work with a wide range of personnel such as product managers, branch personnel, engineers and other technical personnel to clarify document content

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree any field.

- Proficient MS Office skills
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
- Program coordination skills
