Technical Writer Job

PART TIME TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in WILMINGTON, DE.

- Excellent English-language proposal writing and editing skills
- Edit technical subjects

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Create, publish and maintain customer facing data reports, user guides, journal publications and other documentation to support the diagnostic product line
- Prepares detailed proposal outlines for proposal volume
- Writes proposal content as assigned Formats, prepares, and produces draft proposal volumes for review by team members and management
- Produces and assembles proposal volumes for timely delivery to the customer
- Assures quality throughout the proposal development process as a collegial team member and within deadline constraints
- There is flexibility with the schedule as this job is only 20 hours a week.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Excellent English-language proposal writing and editing skills
- Must be able to edit the work of technical subjects
- Expert skill with Microsoft Word; proficient skills with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft SharePoint; graphics software skills (such as Adobe Illustrator)
- Must know how to produce final proposals including CDs, binders, and tabs
- High quality standards - able to check proposal documents throughout the development process to ensure the quality of each final delivered proposal.
- Previous experience writing/editing technical proposals
- Bachelor's degree required; English major preferred; a technical degree is suitable with English language training and experience
