Technical Writer Job

TECHNICAL WRITER opportunity for a LONG TERM CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in Raleigh, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE

- The Technical Writer is responsible for revising and rebranding documents assigned to the Enterprise Architecture group.
- This position will work closely with Information Architects to update architecture documentation with common branding and formatting.
- Responsible for evaluating business requirements and translated them into application design documents sequence diagrams

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will be updating and revising changes to documents to assist with the consolidation of enterprise architecture artifacts.
- Effectively designed and reviewed technical documents for the development team
- Edited and maintained process documents and work flows using Microsoft Word and Visio
- Researched and compiled reference data, analyzed technical literature available, wrote descriptive copies, and verified technical information with related teams and departments
- Ability to effectively communicate technical specifications/instructions to a wide range of audiences

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- PAST EXPERIENCE WRITING DOCUMENTS OR PROCEDURES, REVISING DOCUMENTS OR PROCEDURES A MUST
- EDUCATION: 4 year degree, BA or BS Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience preferably with credentials in writing (Communications, English, etc.)
