Technical Writer Job

TECHNICAL WRITER needed for part time contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Redmond, WA. This is a 12 month contract role working approximately 20 hours a week.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Process Documentation experience for internal audiences
- Strong writing and editing skills using Adobe products
- Sharepoint, Word and PDF experience
- Understanding of how gaming companies operate

What You'll Be Doing:

- Work within a game studio documenting internal processes
- Utilize "gamer mentality" to understand which processes need documentation and how to best document
- Describe complex tools and step-by-step instructions.
- Document the results, discoveries and techniques of our Audio and Visuals teams to be shared across studios.
- Create documents with Word or PDF, often with Embedded and annotated media, uploaded to a Sharepoint site.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Excellent technical process documentation experience
- Word, PDF and Sharepoint experience
- A "Gamer mentality"

Bonus Points!

- Previous experience in a game studio
