JOB DESCRIPTION
TECHNICAL WRITER ENGLISH-LANGUAGE, SPAIN
English-language Technical Writer required for an International client in Spain with experience of working with business users and IT design and development teams to produce technical documentation, training materials and User Manuals. This is a long term role in a lovely location by the sea.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:
- Participating in meetings with design and development teams for gathering requirements
- Developing technical documents
- Reviewing and updating technical documents
- Preparing Training Materials and User Manuals
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio
- Methodical approach
- Able to translate concepts described by technicians into meaningful communications aimed at business users
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Able to work with little supervision
- Creativity
- Knowledge of different media channels for documentation eg video, Adobe Captivate
- Some experience of supporting and delivering training would be desirable but not essential
LANGUAGES:
- High level of both spoken and written English.
- Minimum accepted level C2 of the CEF (Common European Framework) framework
The candidate should be eligible to work in Spain, as we cannot process work permits.
