Technical Writer, English (Contract, Basel)

For one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for a native English speaking Technical Writer for a new 6 month contract in Basel starting as soon as possible.

TECHNICAL WRITER, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, BASEL)

In this exciting new contract role, you will design, create, and maintain documentation related to Safety Risk Management Project and Systems. This will include project and system documentation, standard operating procedures, instructions and guidelines, user documentation or any other type of documentation required.

You will be responsible for the following deliverables:

- Be accountable for document deliverables following the System Lifecycle of a Solution.
- Work with the project teams to create and edit documentation in line with Roche documentation standards.
- Assist the Operational Support team to ensure that all changes made to the systems are correctly reflected in the documentation baseline.
- Ensure that documentation adheres to applicable templates and global and local standards
- Ensure that applicable document deliverables are electronically approved, and stored in the correct locations
- Maintain documentation baselines, and develop methods for efficient change control for documents in a multi project environment
- Take a proactive approach in analysing and deriving recommendations for improvements to documentation

In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

- Experience writing technical documentation and instructions
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong customer orientation and commitment to excellence
- Experience understanding the needs of IT and outstanding communication skills
- Ideally experience working in the pharma industry
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and can do attitude
