Technical Writer - Engineering Job

TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in LAKE FOREST, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- One to two (1-2) Years experience with creating procedures and documenting processes
- AA Degree with two (2) years of work experience with Technical Writing.
- BS/MS Degree in engineering discipline preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Creating and/or Revising Department Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Job Aids.
- Releasing Documents in local Documentation Control System
- Attending meetings and gathering information for documentation revisions.
- Working with other associates and subject matter experts to redline documents.
- Ensuring accuracy/integrity of all information documented.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines with extreme accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with excellent follow-up required
- Strong to Advanced PC skills (ie, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Experience in CRM/ERP systems (eg Siebel, ServiceMax, SAP, J. D. Edwards)
