- 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH THE VIEW TO EXTEND FOR 6-12 MONTHS

Our client is a high profile Government Agency with offices located throughout Australia. The department is looking for a talented TECHNICAL WRITER to join their state office in the ACT. Working within an ICT environment one will be required to produce quality documentation including systems and user guides, online help, system administration manuals, standard operating procedures, and relevant troubleshooting guides.

The is an initial 6 month contract position commencing immediately with a rewarding hourly rate on offer and a view to extend.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO;

- Write illustrate, edit, and test ICT documents for technical and non ¬technical audiences;
- Work in a secure ICT environments;
- Document complex ICT tasks as a sequence of logical and procedural steps and
- Transfer skills, provide documentation and exchange information to other members of the division

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe products and other text, graphics, and publishing packages;
- Experience with design, formatting and layouts;
- A strong background in developing technical documentation;
- The ability to prioritise and completing assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy and;
- Previous Government experience is highly desirable however not essential
