Technical Writer (Compliance)

Our client, located in Tucker, GA, is seeking a Technical Writer to assist their Cyber Security Operations team with developing and revising regulatory compliance documentation and processes.

Responsibilities:

This resource periodically reviews and updates regulatory compliance related policies, processes and procedures. The resource also assists in developing and performing repeatable processes to provide assurance to achieve ongoing compliance with regulatory compliance standards (implementation of internal controls; identifying, assessing and correcting process deficiencies).

Qualifications:

Resource should possess excellent technical writing, attention to detail and organizational skills. Should possess strong verbal communication and time management skills as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work. Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, MS SharePoint, Visio and Adobe Acrobat is highly desired. Three (3) years of business experience is required, experience with regulatory compliance frameworks is preferred. Technical Writing and Documentation is mandatory. Utility, legal, compliance, physical security or cyber security related experience is highly desired.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Equivalent degree and work experience includes an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field paired with eight (8) or more years of business experience.
