Technical Writer, CBD (S17)

- 2 MONTH CONTRACT
- BASED IN THE CBD

Large government department is looking for a TECHNICAL WRITER to write the Operation Guidelines and Procedures and recommended practices for this division

AS TECHNICAL WRITER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Working closely with stakeholders to write the Operation Guidelines, Procedures and recommended practices to allow the initial training to be developed to ensure standardised training
- Distilling the guidelines and procedures and practices into a form that can be readily understood
- Prepare documentation and indexes and review safe work method instructions
- Interact with external stakeholders

TO BE CONSIDERED AS TECHNICAL WRITER FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL HAVE

- Experience in writing Operation Guidelines and Procedures and Recommended Practices
- Capacity to interpret and integrate specialist and technical information and translate the information
- Technical writing skills including understanding of plain English principles
- Good research and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- High level organisational skills including the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders including SME's
