Role: Technical Writer

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Location: Darlington

Rates: up to £350 per day

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the documentation production cycle
*

Analysing of documentation requirements
*

Attending planning meetings
*

Collaborating with developers and managers to gain technical clarity
*

Understanding the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared
*

Gathering and analysing the information needs of the users
*

Suggesting the structure and content of the documents to be in line with the needs of the audience
*

Managing conflicting requirements
*

Ensuring products are delivered within deadlines and to a high standard

Experience & Skills Required:

*

Excellent skills covering documenting technical and non-technical processes
*

Experience of setting up processes and policies and documenting current practises
*

Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint Security Model
*

Experience of setting and maintaining quality standards and QA processes
*

Background in the Education Sector
