Technical Writer wanted for one of our client in the pharmaceutical sector based in Basel.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree, certification in technical writing advantageous
- At least 7 years' experience in technical writing, preferably in the pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry
- Strong technical background and full understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), along with solid know how in Business Process data/design flow mapping
- Deep knowledge of requirements gathering for inputs to User Requirements, Functional Specification, Technical Design Document, requirements traceability, product backlog, unit test plan, test scripts, administrative manual, and user manual
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Organizing and writing quality documents for project deliverables in conjunction with revising documents as new issues arise
- Contributing to standardized technical content across documentation deliverables, together with creating operating instructions, how-to manuals, assembly instructions, and "frequently asked questions" pages
- Cooperating with computer hardware engineers, software designers and developers and interpreting the flow of information among project work groups during development and testing
- Designing technical solutions based on Business processes, as well as using and/or developing photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations and charts, that increase the user's understanding
- Understanding complex information and communicating the information to people with diverse professional background
