Next Ventures are currently looking for a Technical Writer to join a long-term contract in Basel.
The assignment is 20%. The candidate must be flexible and able to work when needed. The candidate might have to work sometimes for a week, and then afterwards, will not have work for a few weeks. The Project Manager normally provides at least 1 week notice.
PROJECT AIM:
System documentation has to be done for the enhancement and for the migration of IT project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will need to author and revise technical documentation in English. He/she will have to interact with different stakeholders and the development team. Therefore he/she should have very good communication skills when following up with people, be interactive and accountable.
MAIN TASKS AND DUTIES:
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Enter requirements into Quality Assurance System
- Create User Acceptance Test Scripts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a technical writer for Informatics systems
- Business English (required)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Familiarity with Computerized Systems Validation (preferred)
- Familiarity with PMI Project Management Methodology (preferred)
- Familiarity with HP ALM (preferred)
