RESPONSIBILITIES:

- We are looking for a candidate that is a self-starter and highly organized, can work independently in a fast-paced environment and produce multiple quality deliverables with varying deadlines.
- Work with various internal teams including Business Analysts, Business Technical Analysts, Project Managers and SMEs to create and edit documents, including easy-to-understand user guides, quick-start guides, installation manuals, operational instructions and release notes.
- Update and revision management of existing documentation (functional and technical) and distribute new and updated documentation to relevant teams.
- Review published and internal materials to provide editing or proofreading services, as requested.
- Accountable for the quality of all assignments, including accuracy and SME approvals
- In addition to these responsibilities, candidates for this position should also exhibit most of the leadership competencies for a Technical Writer External Worker Role

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience
- Must be intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and working with templates and style guidelines for documentation consistency
- Have proficiency/understanding of the MS SharePoint Application
- Demonstrate understanding of the rules of English grammar and usage
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be able to interact effectively with internal teams to foster relationships and utilize facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Experience in organizing information in a way that is appropriate for technical explanations without losing sight of the needs and aptitude of the audience
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to accept changes and constructive criticism in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of multiple SDLC concepts and the interdependencies of documentation
- BA in English, journalism, technical writing or similar discipline
