Required: Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field or six years of equivalent work experience in research, IT, or engineering. Minimum of four years' experience as a documentation specialist. Demonstrated high degree of proficiency in information analysis, target-audience analysis, composition, grammar, and document design and layout. Under minimal supervision, has demonstrated responsibility for preparing and maintaining technical, user, project, policy, and process documentation, maintaining an internal documentation library, and competent to work in all phases of documentation.

Preferred: Experience with compliance, regulatory, IT security, and/or legal documentation..

Consult to determine the type of document(s) needed, the scope of the project, deadlines, and the allotted budget. Advise clients of publication options, as well as the optimal design and final published format (hard copy, Intranet, web, etc.) that will meet their requirements, achieve their goals.

Interacts with all levels of employees. Participates on project teams and work with various individuals throughout the company, including Information Technology and Telecommunications, Corporate Communications, Training & Development, Energy Delivery, Energy Supply. Must be able to handle confidential materials appropriately.
