Technical Writer

Seeking a self-motivated experienced technical writer with previous experience writing training manuals and creating video tutorials for software applications. The resource needs understanding of learning management systems, to include facilitator and student use of learning management systems. In addition, work as a liaison between development team and the end user to transform release notes into training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Creative Writing, English, Journalism, Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in technical writing.

Minimum of 3 years experience writing user manuals and/or training guides.

Experience creating video training tutorials and online learning modules.

Experience documenting Use Cases, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams a plus.

Experience interacting with different people, such as, project managers, developers, end users, subject matter experts, programmers, as well as, marketers.

Experience with documenting packaging, bundling software, manifests and install instructions.

Excellent oral and written skills are a must.
