Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, English, communications, technical writing, or a related field, required.
Passing score of Average or better on the Walden Test preferred.
Working knowledge of word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation and diagramming software required.
Familiarity with Adobe, Markup Languages (HTML, SGML, XML), Authoring Systems (Arbortext Editor), DITA, UML, and structured authoring methodology preferred.
Familiarity with development languages such as Cobol, Java, JCL, and NATURAL preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
Positive Java to JAR correlation preferred.
Willingness to pursue Associate in Information Technology (AIT) designation
or General Insurance Certificate courses or any approved job-related training required.
The position will require the incumbent to work extra hours during peak periods.
