TECHNICAL WRITER REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is the worlds leading software corporation seeking a talented Programming Writer to communicate important platform changes to OEM, IHV, and Mobile Operator partners. As a member of this team you will engage directly with various feature owners and write content for areas such as boot, drivers, customizations, and application development. Your deliverables will include release notes, feature/scenario overviews, and walkthroughs.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent writing and communication skills
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Communications, or equivalent
- Experience reading and writing code in C/C++, C#, Objective-C, and/or Java including the ability to develop low-level system sample applications
- Experience using developer tools such as Visual Studio or Xcode

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least 3-5 years experience writing developer or engineering-focused documentation (eg whitepapers)
- Strong interest in design and development of device drivers or applications (actual experience a plus)
- Understanding of OS internals and driver architecture of an OS
- Ability to develop documentation from source code
- Ability to easily adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
