Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer with a great technical background and someone who understands Servers and windows Operating Systems management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interviewing various stakeholder groups such as Process owners, Business Owners Users, Team Leaders, Primary stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and end users in order to determine needs and understanding the process being documented.
- Planning, designing, researching, writing and editing a range of documents, including user guides, work instructions and supporting technical documentation relevant to business requirements for both print and online use.
- Formatting material produced to be in line with the audience specific language that is clear and concise for the users to understand.
- Writing end user documentation, such as user guides, work instructions and process maps.
- Managing multiple end user documentation assignments simultaneously.
- Adherence to Federal Government documentation policies, standards and documentation control systems.

EXPERIENCE:

- Expert understanding and demonstrated ability to use MS Word, Excel and Visio.
- Possess a depth of experience and skills that can be drawn upon when required to deliver an exceptional standard and quality of work, on time and in line with the client expectations.
- A proven ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM will be an advantage.
