Technical Writer

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer for a 3 month contract position in Atlanta, GA.

Technical Writer will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing operational, software, maintenance, test procedures and/or manuals.

SKILLS:

- 4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience in technical writing
- Previous experience of web site documentation required
- Detailed knowledge of technical writing in a systems environment.
- Proven ability to write in explanatory, procedural and creative styles and for multiple audiences.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, develop, and document technical design specifications, flowcharts, and test scripts.
Participate in the user interface design.
Produce electronic documentation such as CDs and online user help tools.
Acquire and organize source material, including applicable specifications and technical write-ups.
