For a project with the European Commission in Brussels we are looking for a Technical Writer
REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary School degree
- Experience in EU Institution environment (optional)
- Ability to participate to mutli-lingual meetings, ease of communication
- Communicate (verbally and written) in English - French.
- Capability of integration in an international environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
TASKS
- Design, creation, and maintenance of technical documentation
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Ability to create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
- Ability to creates documentation that is accurate, complete, unambiguous, and as concise as possible
- Solid research, language, and writing skills,
- Additional skills in:
- Information design
- Information architecture
- Training material development
- Illustration
- Typography
- Translation management
- Website design or management
- User Interfaces
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- Overall experience with ICT projects and processes - 12 years (6 years if university degree)
- Proven experience with comparable missions.
