Technical Writer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a TECHNICAL WRITER who will be responsible for designing, researching, writing, editing and publishing policy and procedure documentation for a NEW HRIS SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. The primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain a library of technical documentation, specifications, operations guides, and best practice guides related to our technology solutions and their delivery. Additional duties may include researching new topics, editing existing content to describe application changes, assessing the documentation needs of new applications and projects to provide that information in the most comprehensive way, working directly with various team members to understand the application being documented, creating product diagrams and illustrations as necessary to improve user comprehension and understanding.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related subject is required
- 3+ years of technical writing experience specifically with HR SYSTEMS DOCUMENTATION
- Must possess strong analytical, communication, and organization skills
- Must be proficient with creating technical design specifications, flowcharts, and test scripts
- 3+ years of experience and proficiency with MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
