Technical Writer

TECHNICAL WRITER NEEDED IN VIRGINIA BEACH, VA

We are actively seeking a Technical Writer WITH EXPERIENCE WRITING MEDICAL CLAIMS PROCESSING WORKFLOWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.  Selected individual will be responsible for organizing, developing, and documenting business technical information, processes and procedures.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Gathers, writes, validates and updates training material, end-user documentation, operations manuals and technical user guides to support future maintenance and problem solving. Works with a development team to evaluate documentation needs. Reviews estimates and specifications as they pertain to the deliverables for each customer. Assists with design, development and editing of Internet-related material. Communicates implementation of new releases to stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE

- Requires BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Systems
- 4 years of technical writing experience
- Demonstrates proficiency in writing skills, interviewing techniques and interpersonal skills.
- Requires ability to work in team environment, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
