Technical Writer

Our client is the world's leading computer components company seeking a TECHNICAL WRITER for an excellent contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Creating, review and publish technical documents intended for customers
- Working with cross-departmental subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure timely completion of draft documentation to produce final published versions of: design kit documentation, IP datasheets, user guides, application notes, methodology documents, test and manufacturing documentation, and other documentation as needed.
- Working with peer technical writers to ensure compliance with ICF publications processes

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 years

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Technical Communication, or equivalent with minimum 10 years of applicable experience
- Ability to work independently at the highest level of all phases of documentation production
- Must be detail-oriented and have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Must have excellent knowledge Microsoft and Adobe Desktop Publishing Suites
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve team goals and objectives

Estimated hours per week: 40 standard hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Overtime not permitted without preapproval
% of travel required: minimal
