Technical Writer

TECHNICAL WRITER contract opportunity in northwest Boston, MA metro. Twelve month contract. Need working experience with Quark and FrameMaker. Local candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with Engineering subject matter experts and Marketing departments to obtain product data
- Identifying user documentation needs
- Develop technical writing in collaboration with team

REQUIREMENTS

- BA/BS/BAA four year Degree or two-year degree with compensating experience
- Minimum 2 to 5+ years highly experienced in technical writing
- Must have working experience with FrameMaker and, AS A PLUS, Quark
- A PLUS to have some Graphic Illustrator skills
- A PLUS to have Database publishing skills and Stibo STEP Database Publishing experience
- Good interpersonal and verbal communications skills and self-starter with initiative, independent thinker, work well with minimal supervision and good time management skills
