Technical Trainer Job

TECHNICAL TRAINER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FORT WORTH, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedure
- May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs
- Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction. Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs
- Establishes and directs the maintenance of companywide training program
- Establishes and directs the maintenance of a companywide training and qualification record system
- Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- F35 Manufacturing experience
- Military and or manufacturing techniques, proficiency to read and interpret blueprints, layouts and schematics
- Have a strong understanding of aircraft structural components and how they fit together to form an airframe. Have a background to understand the needs of how different components, made from different materials, come together
- Candidate must possess a high level of expertise and experience in aircraft production, tube assemblies, sealing, shimming, drilling, reaming and countersinking, as well as associated component, equipment installation
- The candidate will be responsible to instill and maintain the quality of processes and procedures by performing On-the-Job proficiency training and certifications
- Primarily responsible to instill and maintain a quality workmanship, as well as maintain a process disciplined workforce
- Interface and instruct personnel for the purpose of recertification and/or make recommendations to supervision/management for decertification due to substandard performance and timeline standards
- Knowledge of different fasteners, including screws, bolts, nuts, Eddie Bolts, Lock Bolts, "Click Bond" nut plates, and blind bolts. Knowledge of aircraft plumbing fittings and swaging of tube connections is expected
- Must be highly skilled at applying sealant in confined spaces and at differing angles for faying, fillet, and void conditions
- Experienced in drilling, reaming, countersinking and spot facing of composite, aluminium, and titanium.
