Technical Test Lead

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL TEST LEAD to join our client in the Seattle, WA area.

JOB OVERVIEW:

One of our leading gaming clients on the east side is looking for a Technical Test Lead to own testing for Web and Online properties.

Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of test strategies that validate business, user, and technical requirements for these products.
- Working with producer and development peers, as well as internal and external development partners to meet overall product and release goals.
- Drawing from past experiences to identify where automation should be applied to speed up test iteration and reduce costs.
- This roll will be considered a technical expert on the project, which includes digging in and working at all levels of our stack from the Web based UX (both internal and external), to our web services, and down to the data store.

Job Qualifications:
- Two (2) plus years of experience as a test leader, with feature ownership and managing a small team through release
- Five (5) plus years of experience in software development, with testing focused on technical (code-based) testing
- Three (3) plus years of working experience with SQL
- Strong proven testing aptitude, including evaluation, design and implementation of automation where applicable
- Demonstrated strong communication and problem solving skills

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Experience using Business Intelligence and data analysis tools such as Analysis Services, reporting, Business Objects, Tableau, Crystal Reports
- Experience with web services
- Past experience working with large database centric connected data sources
- Experience with COSMOS and Scope
