Job Description: Technical Test Engineer for Risk Methodologies

Your responsibility

Support the development of a strategic calculation platform. The platform enables business users to develop risk calculations and to automate the calculations for delivering reporting to various stakeholders through a reporting application. The team where you are in provides also Application Maintenance and Level 3 support.

Your skills

- in- depth knowledge of testing methodologies and practices
- understanding Software Requirement Specification and required Test Scenarios
- proficiency in advanced Excel functions (eg, creating formulas, macros, Statistical calculations) and test automation
- basic knowledge of one of the languages R, Python, Matlab, SAS to understand/debug/dry run structure of code
- SQL (Oracle)

Your experience (approx. 5 years)

- Test designing, utilizing appropriate Specification, Structural, Defect and Experience based Test Techniques
- Functional and non functional testing
- Regression testing for project documenting and presenting test results to IT and business stakeholders
- Test automation
- HP ALM Quality Center for defect tracking and for test cases execution and JIRA
- Test Driven Development (TDD) or replicating Models in Excel or other platform to verify numbers/Statistical calculations
- Analyzing large data using tools such as SQL (Oracle) and statistic

You are:

- able to integrate and participate in a project team.
- capable of quickly understanding and analysing complex issues and addressing challenges arising during the software development process, both conceptually and technically.
- able to approach issues in a structured and coordinated manner and the results are documented accordingly.
- independent, reliable and able to work under pressure
- fluent in English written and spoken
- a background in banking
