Technical Test Analyst - Performance Testing, Bank, Luxembourg

BACKGROUND

My client is a major bank and they are releasing the latest version of their securities custody/settlement applications with additional, rich functionality. As part of the development life cycle, they are now looking for an experienced Technical Test Analyst to support the Testing effort prior to release.

TASKS

Execute manual test for Technical testing (Performance, recovery, etc);

Logging defects for bugs identified during test execution;

Participate in the root cause analysis of the defect;

Recording of the identified problems;

Performance analysis, prepare alternative solutions;

Dashboard & Reporting.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Experience with performance testing or/

Linux (ideally Systems Administration experience);

Oracle (ideally DBA experience);

SQL;

Middleware knowledge as Weblogic Or JBOSS;

Experience of software development in large projects;

Good overview and knowledge of open source software;

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

Experience in the clearing business, preferably with other clearing organisations (eg. Clearstream, Euroclear, LCH, clearing operations of investment banks, stock exchanges, CSDs etc) will be a plus.
