TECHNICAL TEST ANALYST (HP QUALITY CENTER, MS TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER, C#/SELENIUM WEBDRIVER)

The contract is with a large consultancy to be on an assignment at a European Institution in Den Haag, Netherlands. The client is seeking a Technical Test Analyst to perform additional testing activities on a business critical ICT solution.

Tasks

Taking the lead and advising on the test analysis, design and execution of specific parts related to a new SIENA functionality, as well as performing automated regression testing (including functional and technical testing) based on the existing Solution specifications and the high level technical architecture. Consultant will be using several testing tools including HP Quality Center
Design, code and execute new automated tests based on C#/Selenium Webdriver triggered by continuous integration of builds;
Maintain code of/execute existing automated tests based on HP Unified Functional Testing;
Design and execute manual test scripts of the Solution;
Design and execute performance test scripts (Visual Studio Load tests);
Creating representative test data for the Solution.

REQUIRES
Working knowledge of English

Professional Experience - mandatory:
a minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting functional testing of web applications
a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, coding and executing automated tests using tools such as HP Unified Functional Testing (QuickTest Professional) or Selenium Webdriver
a minimum of 6 months of experience in test planning and test management
a minimum of 6 months of experience in conducting functional testing of web services
a minimum 6 months of experience in conducting performance testing of web applications/services

Professional Knowledge - mandatory:
Knowledge of testing on various test levels using a variety of test types
Knowledge of test design/execution using one of the following test design techniques:
Specification-based (or behaviour-based or Black Box); Structure-based (or White Box); Defect-based, Experience-based
Knowledge of how to determine suitable test approaches, compose suitable Test Documentation, define suitable acceptance criteria, review structurally work products from other teams.

Professional Knowledge - desirable
Knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB terminology
Knowledge of test management, planning, test metrics and estimations
Knowledge of testing the following Software Quality Characteristics: Functionality, Technical Security, Usability, Efficiency, Reliability and Maintainability
