Technical Test Analyst - Capital Markets RISK - Sydney CBD

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading global financial markets institution with offices in multiple global locations. They have a reputation for innovative use of cutting edge technologies to capture financial markets opportunities. Due to the continued success and demand of their product suite, they have seen significant growth in their client base. As such, they are looking to build out (and upon) their IT team by securing the services of a Technical Test Analyst with experience maintaining financial applications, ideally built with Microsoft technology stack (Windows, SQL, C++).

THE ROLE

This diverse, multifaceted role will see you working with global teams across support and development (incl. testing) to maintain and continually improve a cutting edge Capital Markets Risk (Credit, Market, Counterparty) Management System for a range of high profile clients across the globe. The environment is predominantly a Microsoft shop and thus an emphasis on finding ambitious technologists with exposure to Windows Server platforms, SQL Server RDMS and financial applications (ideally Risk or Trading platforms) built in C++ but any OO language (Java, C#) is still relevant.

Other key points of interest for our client are technologists who are driven and ambitious and also those who have a holistic understanding of the applications they support.

Requirements of the role:

- 3-5+ years financial markets application testing experience.
- Complete end to end testing methodologies (SIT, Test Automation).
- Experience with Microsoft stack: Windows Server, SQL Server and C++.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with version control systems (SVB, Subversion).
- Bachelor Degree Business (relevant Major), Business Sys/Computer Science, Economics.
- Previous Experience working for a Technology Vendor or Consultancy (highly desirable).
