Technical Team Lead

A .NET developer who is expert in building scalable applications.  The successful candidate will be working on Mobile applications for the international corporate market. The individual will also be required to supplement, or take to completion, the prototype phase of future projects with the intention of presenting or proposing new ideas to internal business units or external facing customers and partners.

The applicant must be capable of gaining skills in a broad spectrum of application platforms.

The applicant must be experienced in working with some offshore development, driving quality throughout the development process.

The project involves building a new corporate online platform to supply various services: Mobile Front End, visual analytics, as well as a corporate payments application. The platform will be used by the largest companies in the world, and so must be robust, scalable and look and function well.

While the team is located in Dublin, this job requires working within the context of a larger, distributed, team - with globally located colleagues. No travel is envisaged for this role, but is occasionally possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Candidate will become a member of a new development team.
- Responsible for delivery of development on innovative mobile applications.
- Large scope for influencing design and architecture.
- Work with the Application and Domain architects in design.
- Learn new technologies quickly.
- Develop in a rapid prototyping and agile environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Highly experienced at Front End development for large enterprise level solutions.
- Experience with designing and developing.
- Strong .NET development experience.
- Developing for Web Services, Web Services, AJAX, Security, SOA, Design Patterns.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Experience with Banking and Cash management applications and process would be advantageous but non-essential.
- Experience of mobile development would be advantageous.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 8 years development experience.
- .NET programming is necessary.
- Experience of working in a .NET, MVC environment.
- Experience of leading a team including some offshore developers.
- Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with international scope.
- Experience of working in a Software as a Service environment would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of developing for mobile devices and HTML 5 is desirable.

- Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience.
