Technical Support Tester Job

TECHNICAL SUPPORT TESTER needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, OR.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Linux OS
- SW Test & Install

What You'll Be Doing:
- Tech Support Tester will be responsible for installing, running and debugging various Operating Systems.
- Setup and execution of tests in a controlled environment.
- Assist in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configurations and assisting with machine placements.
- Generate reports on OS setup and test results.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- MINIMUM of a AS in IT, EE, CS or related subject matter
- MINIMUM of three (3) plus years professional experience in:
- Testing and software installation in a controlled environment.
- Debugging PC hardware platforms, building systems and configuring hardware.
- Installing and running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux and Netware.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in EE or related subject matter
