Technical Support Specialist/Systems Analyst (SEPA)

Projektbeschreibung
- Support for the technical infrastructure and applications for processing payments through the Irish electronic clearing system (IRECC) and SEPA Credit Transfer and Direct Debit payments schemes.
- Act as technical SME supporting the delivery and troubleshooting of multiple test payment environments including commissioning of new environments.
- Production Issue Resolution. Supporting the business in the diagnosing and fixing of payment related issues with application, infrastructure and environment.
- For example a payment file failed to load in to a system
- Why didn't it process
- What is needed to rectify the issue
- What are the consequences of the rectification
- What testing needs to be carried out to ensure the fix doesn't cause any other unforeseen issues
- Work with business and technical teams to drive forward the technical implementation of Payment disaster recovery environments to meet the BCP.
Job Specifications
Essential Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role preferably in a financial environment.
- Dovetail (or Similar SEPA Payment Solutions)
- Oracle
- Connect Direct
- Programming skills in Java, PL/SQL and Oracle forms.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and HA methodologies and technologies.
- Solid technical knowledge of the following products
- Red Hat Linux
- Weblogic and Tomcat
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyse and document information.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Education:
- A relevant 3rd level qualification
- Relevant Technical Qualifications/Certifications
