Technical Support Specialist (Informatica ETL)

CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR A TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST TO SUPPORT ETL PROCESS USING INFORMATICA TOOL, AND DEVELOP MINOR CHANGE REQUESTS.

REPORTING TO THE DATA WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS SUPPORT LEAD YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

- Analysis and support of existing ETL process
- Ongoing technology support (Informatica)
- On-going advice and guidance on improvement tasks
- Review and Implement coding standards for Informatica
- Design and Develop Minor change requests
- Review and Implementation of data warehouse schemas to support existing process
- Documentation of ETL process and data warehouse interfaces

Background:

- Minimum 5+ years' experience in INFORMATICA
- Experience in documenting Support Process
- Experience in logical and physical relational database analysis, design and engineering including traditional Entity-Relationship Modelling
- Proven experience with SQL and other standard database query tools
- Knowledge of Relational databases such as Oracle & SQL Server
- Extensive data warehouse architecture knowledge including star schema, ODS extract methodology
- Exposure to ITIL Methodology
