Technical Support Specialist

We have an exciting opening for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST with our progressive client in Columbia, SC.

This is a 12 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with EXCELLENT BENEFITS available.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-- Resolve and respond to questions received from customers.
-- Provide routine password & account resets and status to customers on open problems using established processes and procedures.
-- Receive and respond to customers for technical support or services. Enter requests utilizing appropriate tools and processes. Thoroughly document communication with customers and complete requests or issues of basic complexity.
-- Identify actual or potential problem and escalate problems to appropriate higher-level professionals when necessary.
-- Complete administrative and other area related tasks such as reviewing or completing forms, disseminating documents to appropriate areas, reviewing and/or providing input into procedures, etc.

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:

-- IT job related experience (REQUIRED, 2 YEARS)
-- Customer Service Call Center experience (REQUIRED)
-- Experience resolving and responding to questions received from customers.(REQUIRED)
-- Experience providing routine password & account resets and status to customers on open problems using established processes and procedures. (REQUIRED)
-- Experience working in a 100% phone support 24/7 support center. (REQUIRED)
