RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serves as technical support for all Legal Division users for the IBM PSS Atlas, eCounsel, Datawarehouse, and iManage applications
- Works closely with Legal application administrators, vendors, technical teams in GIS, and DBAs
- Works directly with clients to apply IT and business knowledge with experience to formulate IT solutions for business problems
- Devises standard system procedures, participates in system testing, prepares program test data, test and debug programs.
- Provides direct application support to business end-users and support data interface processes.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, and assists in the development of related project proposals.
- Gathers and documents user and functional requirements, develops and executes test scripts.
- Complies with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Coordinates system support with other IT support organizations (ie, infrastructure, other applications) and with external partners
- Communicate with coworkers effectively, and lend to a positive attitude in the workplace.
- Participates in application configuration, implementation, and roll out of new enhancement
- Provides technical assistance in upgrade and roll out of new systems
- Analysis of Application Server generated logs, manage services
- Troubleshoots database related errors with DBA with some administration skills database requirements for vendor supported application
- Creates Data change requests, maintains versions of software, history, documentation, code promotion base on user requirements
- Implements changes ex. single sign on with Windows and Unix administrators and vendor's technical support
- Designs and develops custom reports for application using Business Intelligence Reporting tool (BIRT)
- Develops scripts to make changes at database level upon user's request
- Designs and develops jobs to customize data feed for application
- Configure and Monitor HR jobs
- Performs server administration for iManage application
- Monitors directory synchronization
- Performs database administration like adding users, roles, groups, assign users to groups in iManage application
- Works occasionally with Legal users to define requirements related to system functionality change requests or to understand problems

SKILLS
Must have 4-7 years of overall IT experience and proven strong customer service skills with the abilityto successfully balance support responsibilities for multiple systems/business clients. Must be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented and flexible as business priorities change. The following knowledge and experience is required: Experience and understanding of SQL, database architecture, PL/SQL, interface development and API's; Experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, VB.NET, VB 6,.NET 4.0 framework; Knowledge of content management/document management systems (ex: iManage, SharePoint, Documentum); and Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and current Microsoft Office versions. Strong knowledge of Scripting languages for the automation of tasks is needed. Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle delivery, including requirements gathering, functional/use case design able to communicate, facilitate, prioritize, escalate, and resolve issues.

Experience in the following is a plus:
Legal billing applications (such as Bridgeway's eCounsel suite); Application data integration tools (such as IntApp); Experience in a new deployment of Interwoven/iManage WorkSite DMS; Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports; Experience with DMS administrative tools, such as DocAuto; Experienced resolving common Microsoft Outlook issues (eg, calendar sharing, data migration, email rules, permissions); and Experienced troubleshooting Active Directory (AD), TCP/IP Networks, and common PC applications.
