TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (CLOUD/SAAS SERVICES) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Ramon, CA

THE BIG PICTURE:

- To provide Technical Support for the PREDIX CLOUD (THE SOFTWARE PLATFORM FOR THE INDUSTRIAL INTERNET)
- The Cloud Services Support Engineer NEEDS TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORTING APPLICATIONS ON THE CLOUD that have SERVICES-BASED ARCHITECTURES; strong communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Trouble-shoot application alerts from monitoring tools
- Participate in a 24X7 ON-CALL ROTATION
- Experience in CLOUD/ONLINE SERVICE OPERATIONS OR SAAS TECHNICAL SUPPORT

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Technical Support Engineer (Cloud/SAAS Services) is accountable for TAKING DIRECT SUPPORT CASES FROM USERS OF THE INDUSTRIAL CLOUD PAAS CUSTOMERS
- Technical Support Engineer (Cloud/SAAS Services) will Work directly with Service architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
- Technical Support Engineer (Cloud/SAAS Services) will WRITE TUTORIALS, HOW-TO VIDEOS, AND OTHER TECHNICAL ARTICLES FOR THE CUSTOMER COMMUNITY
- Work on CRITICAL, HIGHLY COMPLEX CUSTOMER PROBLEMS THAT MAY SPAN MULTIPLE SERVICES

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
- Minimum of 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CLOUD/ONLINE SERVICE OPERATIONS OR SAAS TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- Minimum of 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS JAVA DEVELOPER OR UNIX ADMINISTRATION
