A leading client within the Neatherlands is urgently seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a 6 month contract with a likely extention.
THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEERSHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of basic ITIL principles and processes;
- Basic but broad experience with PC hardware, PC software, IP-telephony;
- MS Office, Remedy, Windows OS, iOS, OSX, Server 2012, Office 365,
CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUPPORT TECHNICAL RELATED RESOLVE INCIDENTS RELATED TO COMPUTER, TELEPHONE AND MOBILE DEVICE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY, COMPUTER CONFIGURATION, PRIVILEGES, SOFTWARE, AND MOBILE DEVICE CONNECTIVITY TO THE CUSTOMER'S NETWORK.
SUPPORT
- Provide high quality call coverage to customers.
- Resolve basic incidents where work-a rounds are known and documented.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to the POS environment
- Document customer requests and incidents received by phone, email, and web.
- Fulfill basic and repeatable standard requests in areas like access management
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and hardware and/or software are functioning properly.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
- Very customer oriented;
- Good communicator in English, Dutch and any additional European language is a plus;
- Is experienced in professional support in an international business environment;
- Teamplayer
- Self starter
- Analytical thinking
- Well organized
- Hands on mentality and aimed to get solutions.
- Prepared to travel frequently to other EU-countries.
- Prepared to be part of a standby rotation
