TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 18 MONTH CONTRACT

The candidate will provide technical customer support to Software Developers. The Engineer filling this position will be responsible to provide customer support through web interface to customers of client software development products. S/He must respond to customer questions, reproduce bugs and escalate issues to the product development engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to customer questions, reproduce problems, provide work around solutions, verify fixes and provide fixes to customer.

SKILLS NEEDED:

- Must be familiar with using a compiler
- Must have good customer relation skills
- Must be punctual, able to track issues and work independently
- Knowledge of threads is an advantage
- Knowledge of software performance tuning preferred
- Knowledge of debugging threaded software (data races and memory errors) preferred
- Usage of Visual Studio Developer Studio preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
