Technical Support Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Support Engineer role will encompass all aspects of the technical support for the Wireless Networking and Graphics products.
- Technical Support Engineer will provide technical customer support to software developers.
- Technical Support Engineer will be responsible to provide customer support through web interface to customers of Intel software development products.
- Technical Support Engineer must respond to customer questions, reproduce bugs and escalate issues to the product development engineering team.

Job Qualifications:
- Three (3) plus years of Hardware Repair/Technician experience.
- Working knowledge of basic computer components: memory, process, USB, chipset serial ATA.
- Must be familiar with using a compiler.
- Must have good customer relation skills.
- Must be punctual, able to track issues and work independently.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of threads is an advantage.
- Knowledge of software performance tuning is also advantageous.
- Knowledge of debugging threaded software (data races and memory errors) also an advantage.
- Usage of Visual Studio Developer Studio is advantageous.
