Technical Support/Applications Engineer

Do you have experience working with Vibration test systems and shakers? Are you interested in a customer facing support role? An international manufacturer in theEast Angliaarea is seeking an engineer with experience in vibration test systems to support their customers and sales engineers in the use of their products. The role will have full responsibility for: - Technical Support to all customers andUKcustomer care personnel - Troubleshoot issues with Hardware and Software - Link customer equipment to the needed spares for any repair work required - Where necessary escalate issues into R&D and other groups in the business as needed. Ultimately you will provide the link between engineering and the customer when design or quality issues arise. As such you will need to be comfortable in a customer facing role. Interested? For this position the following skills and experience are required: - Degree in Engineering or HNC plus experience - Ideally 5 years plus experience working with vibration test systems preferably in a service or technical role. - Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of Vibration Testing - Additional Language would be advantageous though not necessary Details Summary: Applications Engineer - Technical Support South East Circa £40,000 Company offers flexi-time working hours.
