We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst for a permanent position for our client that develops, sells and implements a Financial Services Marketing software to companies worldwide. We are currently recruiting for an entry to mid-level software support professional for their growing team. This varied role involves working as part of the client's technical support team with responsibility for issue resolution and the development of service enhancements to their products. The role is customer-facing, covers all aspects of support and also includes responsibility for remote and on-site installations, upgrades and support of client systems.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPERIENCED IN:

- Programming - VB6, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET (familiar with)
- Database - MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- Microsoft database technologies - T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, installation, sizing, performance etc.
- Windows and networks - Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS, COM+MTS, DCOM, MMQ, Active Directory

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

- Ability to work under pressure and with competing priorities
- Good written and communications skills
- Flexible working hours to accommodate world time zone support
- Good telephone manner, strong sense of ownership and client focus
- Experience in the financial sector (beneficial but not essential)
- Educated to degree level
