Technical Support Analyst

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST ASHBURN, VA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

MUST HAVE SKILLS: Lower level position. Role will be focusing on doing inventory of hardware in different data centers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications. Experience working with IT hardware.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Previous experience with Equipment and Asset tracking systems (Asset Repository). Customer service background would be preferred. Working closely with hardware in any industry considered a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The main function of this Technical Support Analyst is to support the Hardware Asset Management function by performing physical inventory of IT assets in enterprise data centers, be responsible for researching, updating, and reporting on IT assets in the asset repository in a timely manner. The position also includes basic researchoccasional extended travel may be required
