Technical Support/3rd line Support Engineer

Technical Support - Contract - 3- 6 month initial contract. Southport. Rates - negotiable

Leading FTSE 50 client in the Southport area is looking to recruit a Technical Support Candidate. The Technical Support Candidate will be involved in the Installation of software and configuration of some 2008 virtual Servers for the client.

(Financial Background preferred)

Essential and Desirable experience:
*Windows server 2008R2 administration/configuration
*IIS 7.5 administration/configuration
*Oracle Client 10g/11g experience
*Understanding of webservices for example, SOAP, WSDL etc.
*Able to understand and interpret bespoke solutions
*Basic understanding of network infrastructure and protocols for example ports/Firewalls - TCP/IP
*Understanding of .NET framework
*Understanding of FTP/SFTP and able to configure SSH
*Knowledge of infragistics components and technologies
*SQL
*HTML
