Projektbeschreibung

Support the Legacy Proliance environment at the direction of the on site IT manager.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Supporting 50 end users (including 10 remote) through the migration to the new network. The technician will not be involved in the migration itself.
First line desktop support for all Proliance users' issues and questions - includes support for desktop applications, remote access, hardware, and Workstation imaging in the Legacy Proliance environment
Day to day maintenance tasks for the Proliance network - includes handling backup tapes, monitoring, etc.
Escalate issues as appropriate to the proper support teams
Contact support vendors as needed
Track issues and maintain accountability for issue resolution
Communicate issues to Proliance users and management
Primarily hands-on work; mostly handling Workstation support, software/hardware troubleshooting, and imaging. SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience with Windows 7 & MS Office.
Must have Associates or equivalent experience.
2-3 years' experience is required
The technician must be able to support a Legacy environment during a transition project from one network to another. The technician will be operating in a small office undergoing a lot of change, and must be able to both adapt and learn both environments as well as guide users through the process.
