Link Technologies is currently seeking a Technical Support for a contract position with our client in Las Vegas, NV.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide first and second level PC/IT Support as part of the Client Help Desk Support Team. Perform remote troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues. Coordinate action by District staff to resolve identified problems. Answer e-mail and phone inquiries as well as enter and track incidents in Remedy Help Desk software.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3-5 years of Help Desk experience
- 3-5 years of experience in hands-on level l/ll desktop computer technical support
- 1-3 years of experience using Help Desk software, preferably Remedy 7
- Working knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and XP operating systems
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 2010 products
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge and experience with IBM Intel-based desktop configurations
- Experience supporting various I/O devices (desktop printers, scanners, plotters, etc.,)
- Working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting network connectivity.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

- A+ Certifications
- Microsoft Certification - MOS, Microsoft Office Specialist
- Technical training or college degree

- Ability to train and walk clients through support calls

- Good attendance record and ability to report on time

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear, in person and by telephone, use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate computers and other standard office equipment, and reach with hands or arms. Contractor needs to be able to sit in an office environment for a ten-hour shift. Specific vision abilities by this assignment include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
