Technical Stores Supervisor

My client is a large firm that provides specialist support services to government departments, particularly the MOD and the various sites they own. They are looking for a technical stores supervisor to join their stores team on an 8 months fixed term contract at a training facility in Kent.
The main duties of the role will be to:
- Supervise the Stores Team ensuring the smooth running of all accounts.
- Provide logistical advice and support to the manager for all tools, spares and stores required to operate.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Engineer Resources Supervisor
- Oversee the demanding, usage and accounting for all POL requirements ensuring the site and POL operator are fully compliant with current regulations.
- Liaise with EinC(A) and ARTD with regards to Technical Stores issues and problems.
- Monitor all P2P transactions and authorise demands accordingly.
- Ensure that GFE requiring calibration is calibrated in accordance with authority policies and time lines.
- Plan and conduct all pre ECI and LSI inspections as directed by the Stores Manager.

Previous experience in a similar role is a key requirement for this position as is a full UK driving license. Previous experience in a security cleared role would be advantageous but not a necessity. if you are interested in the position then please get in contact with myself. .
