Technical Storage Engineer

Currently I have a challenging opportunity for a Technical Storage Engineer.

It's a very interesting opportunity for 1 year plus extensions. The location will be in Rijswijk.

I am looking for a candidate that:

Support the global Technical Storage infrastructure across more than 20 locations for applications used by the company and Production professionals.

Main activities:
- Close working relationship with the end users and IT outsourced suppliers to deliver a stable end to end service
- End to End problem management and monitoring across the storage environment.
- Support the infrastructure directly or in close cooperation with outsource service provider

Technical Skills and Experience you have:
Must have:
- Good Exposure to Storage Technologies
- Operational support experience with NetApp and/or EMC Isilon Storage.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and DFS
- Infrastructure hosting skills focused on the Redhat Linux OS and/or Windows
- Pro-active attitude
- propose and execute technical and service related improvements.
- Customer focused and pro-active attitude - enjoy customer facing, taking end-to-end responsibility.
- Be able to work with various specialized multinational support teams to bring complex requests

or problems to timely resolution.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- In-depth analytical and troubleshooting skills on a variety of platforms.
- Open to new challenges and good adaptability to various technical environments
- Strong willingness to learn, improve and share knowledge

Soft Skills and Experience Nice-to-have/preferred:
- Experience participating in a virtual team of people delivering services/projects
- Experience in multinational/multicultural enterprise.
